About the position:

The Executive Assistant duties will include providing administrative professional support to the executive team by; making and accepting phone calls; preparing memos, emails and letters; researching, gathering, tracking, and compiling data for reporting purposes; producing and distributing agency wide communication; following up on any action items that arise from meetings; and special projects as requested. This position requires the ability to interact with groups, maintain confidentiality, and a high level of discretion.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  1. Maintain strict confidentiality.
  2. Problem solve and analyze information skillfully.
  3. Plan and organize work activities to use time efficiently.
  4. Effectively read and interpret information, laws, and policies, present data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
  5. Use effective interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Two years college education or equivalent experience; and
  2. Two years previous experience in a school, human or social services, or early learning setting.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs, and Google Sheets.
  4. Strong organizational and calendar management skills.
  5. Ability to use independent initiative, good judgement and decision-making skills when setting priorities.
  6. Ability to work in a high paced environment
  7. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.


The position is 20 hours per week for 52 weeks per year with a starting salary of $15.50 to $16.60 per hour, depending on education.
