Children Services Coordinator

OCCDA provides early childhood education and comprehensive, prevention-based services for children ages 0-5, pregnant women, and their families. OCCDA provides both classroom and home visiting services from ten locations. By joining our agency, you will become part of our 50+ year legacy of providing services to children and families. Purpose Statement:

To coordinate children’s services for Head Start, Early Head Start and ECEAP. Works closely with the Program Manager and Early Learning Coaches to support children’s services throughout center-based classrooms and home base programs to provide effective and nurturing teacher-child interactions and environments which support children’s school readiness.

Required Education and Experience:

• AA in Early Childhood Education or related field.

  OR 2 years relevant experience

  OR combination of College and Education

   

  POST HIRE:

  Pre-K CLASS within six months of hire.

  Child Care Licensing Orientation within six months of hire.

  Creative Curriculum for Pre-k within six months of hire.

  Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos within six months of hire.

The Children Services Coordinator position is 40 hours per week for 52 weeks per year, with a starting salary of 22.71 per hour. We will hire at a provisional rate of $19.00 per hour while we train you and/or obtain the required education!
