About the position:

The Cook Aide position is responsible to serve quality meals to the children and families who are part of OCCDA’s Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.  They can expect to assist the Cook in preparing simple meals, maintain a safe and clean environment, maintain an inventory of supplies, and participate in mealtime activities.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Valid Driver's License to transport food to satellite kitchen

  • Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred

  • Knowledge of food safety procedures, preferred 

 

This position is full-time 34 hr/week for 38 weeks per year with a starting salary of $17.33 an hour.
