Fiscal Assistant/Accounts Payable

About the position: To assist the Fiscal Manager with agency accounting operations to include all accounts payable duties to include but not limited to:

• Process payments to vendors on a weekly basis, as well as receive, reconcile and resolve discrepancies in vendor statements.
• Prepares 1099’s and remains current with all applicable State and Federal reporting requirements.
• Assists in Annual audit preparation.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid WA State Driver’s License
• One year of accounting experience, to include accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting
• One year of experience using Microsoft applications, Google suite applications, accounting software, and computer systems

Details:

• Full-time 40 hr per week/ 52 weeks
• Wage $19.60 per hour for qualified applicant with high school diploma and one year of experience
• Wage $23.25 per hour for qualified applicants with an AA and two years of experience or combination
