About the position:

The Mental Health Professional Consultant works in collaboration with program staff and families enrolled in OCCDA programs to address mental health issues in a systematic manner that addresses early identification, on-going progress, follow up, assessment and the development of a healthy environment for children.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Licensed by the State of Washington as a Mental Health Counselor
The Mental Health Professional Consultant will aid OCCDA in fulfilling the Head Start, Early Head Start, ECEAP, and Rural Home Visiting Mental Health Performance Standards. The consultant will also provide support and education for OCCDA direct staff and management as well as parents of enrolled children with regards to mental health and social-emotional services. Other services may include assessments, participation in meetings, available for staff questions, and individual consultations. 


The position is an independent contractor.
