About the position:

The Rural Home Visiting (RHV) Program Manager serves as the project lead, providing leadership and oversight for the RHV Program. In this role, the Manager is responsible for program implementation, management, and high-quality service delivery, including the fidelity of the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model. This position directly supervises two home visiting staff and ensures that program goals and outcomes are met through strong fiscal management, program planning, and performance monitoring. This position plays a key role in maintaining program integrity, compliance, and effectiveness while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and families served. A core responsibility of the manager is to provide reflective supervision for RHV staff as well as Early Head Start staff, supporting professional growth, continuous learning, and effective service delivery, to nurture and guide staff so that they have the tools to engage children and families successfully.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education, social work, health, psychology, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience working with young children and their families
  • 2 years demonstrated supervisory experience, which reflects progressive responsibilities
  • Experience working with diverse needs and characteristics of families and understanding of the influence of varied family systems, culture, socioeconomic status in child rearing practices, and school readiness.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred
  • Previous experience in program or grant management, preferred

Details:

  • Full-time 40hr per week
  • 52 Weeks per year
  • Wage $32.56 per hour for qualified applicant
